Hey man, great to see you still posting and making music that you seem passionate about making. :) It's funny, I'm not really into rap much nowadays (or at least modern rap), nor have I been since my early teens, but whenever you post stuff I usually check it out cuz you always make something that has lots of effort and soul put into it, even if it's not entirely my style. Hmu sometime on the Disc or elsewhere ;D

An absolute classic. :D I might've first heard this track the year it released. Heard it used a bit around a site I grew up making stuff on called Scratch (no worries, its a kids site where content is non-profit). I ended up making a game called Nightmare in 2016 and used this track for it :)

Funky as always, my dude. :) How long would you say it took you til you got a firm understanding on making beats? In other words, when did you feel confident about your ability to construct coherent instrumentals for your songs?

i felt confident in my ability even when i was bad at it ahaha, but i guess every year i kinda look back at the improvement ive made and that helps me recognize where my limits are and how far i can push myself to construct something better or more complicated (not that im really making anything that crazy, i make rap beats not progressive trap metal in 7/8 time)

Even on your demos, you always know how to accompany your beats with so much flair and style in your lyrics ;) pretty neat you took a song from M&L to sample the instrumental

Really nice beat you got here, Chris. Gives off a catchy vibe yet somewhat ominous feeling. Now understand that I know our imaginations and anyone's fiction does not always reflect their real life mindset, but based on the other description "suicidal thoughts", I am a bit concerned. If I'm mistaken I apologize, but otherwise be sure to reach out for any reason necessary. Keep doing what you do best.

Dang, this is the first time I've ever caught one of your tracks within 10 minutes of it being posted. Been listening for years man, love your stuff. "Dusty mysterious beats" is surprisingly a good way to describe this track, as I don't know how else I would summarize it. It sounds like something I would actually play in a cavern, but it seems like it also makes great study music, which is just what I've been needing for my finals week. Keep doing what you're doing Flame, and especially keep doing what you love to make.
